The Meiglyptes tukki hunts on low lying trunks and fallen trees to search for ants and termites. It is often seen hunting with other species like the drones, fantails and malkohas during mixed flock hunting 'parties'.This one, however, was feeding solo when Robert, the cook of the Banana Restaurant, Sepilok Jungle Resort pointed me to the tree-hugging lady.
