Yellow-rumped Flowerpecker

I always like small and colorful appetisers. And was served with this tiny crayon-colored hors d'oeuvre before our dinner at the Forest Edge Resort. It kept me busy while Chin Hock decided on the dishes. But in the end, he asked me to order.

The dinner was great and so were the shots I got of this Yellow-rumped Flowerpecker, a common resident endemic. It's easily confused with the more rare Crimson-breasted which has a white moustache and NO yellow in the rump on either the male or female.
